Guineapig Lovers!

Guins. What are guins? I am sure that you have been asking yourself this question ever since you found my blog. Unless you have read my ME section, you are probably pretty confused. Here are some answers.

The word Guin is short for guineapig. Most people confuse guineapigs with hampsters, but, if you have ever seen a guineapig, you know why it's crazy that people can confuse them with those teeny weeny nibblers. For one, guins drink a whole lot more than hampsters. My guineapigs go through a giant watter bottle in about three days, while hampsters go through almost none at all. I was taking care of my friend's once, and I filled the bottle up with water about twice in two weeks! Next, guins are much bigger - and generally fatter - than hampsters. My guins are so obese, their tummies look like bowling balls! However, they are quite content, and, apart from their weight problem, they are perfectly healthy. Wee little hampsters on the other hand, are much smaller and tiny compared to the gigantic guins. Lastly, guin's hair is very unique. It comes in all different styles and colors, from black to white, gold to red, and brown to purple gray! Styles such as swirls, spikes, curls, or just smooth hair are very common. Now hampsters do have many colors, but their hair is softer and more thin than guineapig's,. And it always is smooth.
